He could have been ticked off and vengeful- but he wasn't.
I think at times we don't prepare well; we avoid confrontation; we rush to judge and dole out revenge. Now, I'm sure we are not all like that all the time, but I've seen shades of it in myself and people around me.
There is a great lesson to be learned here.
I also liked that King Limhi knew that it was better to be in bondage for a time than to continue the contention. I think that is where I am with my teenager at the moment. There are days I feel I am in bondage. The mood is fowl. The tension is high. But it is better the contention. It is better to give in a little than it is to be "right." Eventually, everything will be plainly seen as to which way is the right way.
