Today it snowed all day…
What’s with that?
It seems like in winter we had more spring-like weather, and now that we are in the meteorological spring, it feels like winter -- high winds and heavy rains last week and snow this week. Just wait. We will be back to rainy and blustery weather Next week. When will it end?
I have lived in the Willamette Valley for 17 years. For 17 years I have been able to start my garden during Spring break. Somehow I think I won’t be digging in the garden next week.
Ok… it’s been snowing all day… actually falling out of the sky… but the temperature is has been hovering around 35 degrees so nothing is sticking. Well… the grass has a light covering of snow. The snow continues to fall. The forecast thinks it will continue to fall throughout the night. I have a feeling that as night approaches and the temperature drops, that the snow will stick. I have a sneaking feeling that there won’t be seminary in the morning.
My poor little daffodils are trying to open. Instead, they are frozen. We had to shack the snow off the butterfly bush and many of the other bushes in the yard. The wet heavy snow that blankets them is threatening to snap their cold fragile limbs.
Mother nature needs to realize it's SPRING break not Christmas break.
Actually, I blame McKay’s boyfriend Myles. The last time he came to visit it snowed… the only other time it’s ever snowed here this year. I wonder if he comes this summer if it will snow again.
