More Pinterest tries

Here are my latest Pinterest tries:

Greek Yogurt Pesto Chicken Pasta

Mine didn't look this good.  I put Lillian in charge of cooking the noodles.  When they were done she just turned off the heat and the noodles soaked up the water.  They were a bit mushy... especially because they were gluten free noodles.  I've decided it's time to go all the way gluten free again... at least for a little while.

Sriracha Lime Chicken Chopped Salad

This was SO GOOD!  I loved this one and it definitely going on the menu again!

Basil chicken in Coconut Curry Sauce

Again, my attempt did not look this pretty, but the food was so yummy.  I think it may be the best Curry I've ever made.

I'd say you should give these recipes a try.

Pinterest recipe Try again

Tonight I tried this cabbage recipe.  I am trying to get more veggies in my diet.  Some days are harder than others because the thought of veggies is just not as appealing as cookies.

Kielbasa and Cabbage Skillet

It wasn't bad... I just still want cookies.

Still.... I will try it again.

Pinterest Wins!

My latest Pinterest tries include:

I like this recipe.  It's like having a gyro without the greasy lamb... even if that is good on occasion too.

I also gave this divine chicken a try.

Grilled Greek Lemon Chicken

This is definite "do it again" recipe.  The whole family loved it!

Tomorrow I will try something new again.  The trick is to be home long enough to actually make dinner.

Once On This Island Report

I had the great honor of directing Once on This Island at Central High School which performed the first couple weeks of March.  The show was added to the season after many students requested one more chance to do a show before the end of their senior year.  I didn't start off directing the show.  I started off in my usual "helping" role.  However, after the show was cast, and I had come up with a scene/role break down because I had done the show before, and the the director, Jeff, realized that life was super busy, I was asked to take the lead.  I love this show.  It speaks to me.  Of coarse I would take on the responsibilities of directing the show!
My partners in crime were the usual... Jeff took care of music and costumes and set decor and anything I didn't want to do.  Linda took care of dance.  We make a great team!
Rehearsals were a little crazy because the stage was booked.  We danced and blocked scenes all over the school.  I had to create a set on wheels.  …
